Dear activists of the anti-war and anti-globalization movements,
As OPGAI (United in Struggle – Occupied Palestine and Syrian Golan Heights Advocacy Initiative) coordinating for the strategy meeting on Palestine scheduled for the 27th,28th and 29th of January (7pm-9pm) as part of the Common Activities of the upcoming World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, we would like to give you updates regarding the preparation process.
After having sent out calls for contributions to activists and solidarity groups worldwide, OPGAI has received feedback from almost all parts of the world and so we have been meeting to draft a proposed agenda for the three days of discussion.
Please see below the draft agenda which we would like to discuss with all interested groups and organizations before the seminars start to be able to include all your comments and suggestions. Further we would like to build a small coordinating group that will be able to discuss the outcomes of the meetings and update the agenda as the meetings are developing.
We suggest the following date and place for the meeting:
Date: 26th, 12 am
Place: Palestine House (Parque la Marina; at the border between the Human Rights, the Social Movements and the Solidary Economy terrains, between the WSF info stall and the CUT tent)
Please give us feedback if you will be able to attend.
